Joanne Jackson, Democratic Candidate for State Representative in the 131st District (this district includes Upper Hanover, East Greenville, Pennsburg, and Red Hill), hosts phone banks for her campaign every Monday evening, beginning at 6 p.m – 4195 Estates Dr, Center Valley, PA. If you can spare an hour or two this Monday evening (and/or any other Monday evening in the next few weeks) your help would be greatly appreciated – you’ll get a script, a page or two of names and phone numbers, and, I am told, some tasty refreshments!

UPDC will be hosting a phone banking session for Joanne Jackson in East Greenville (124 Washington Street) on Tuesday, October 4th, from 7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., before the Vice Presidential Debate Watch Party; come early to make some phone calls and then stay for the Debate!

And don’t forget to mark your calendar for Monday, September 26th – the first Presidential Debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump!. The UPDC is hosting a Debate Watch Party in East Greenville (124 Washington Street) that night. The debate starts at 9 p.m., but we’ll be starting the evening off with phone banking for Hillary Clinton from 7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.; bring your cell phone to make calls. The PA Victory Campaign will be providing the script, names and phone numbers, and a few cellphones for those who don’t have, or prefer not to use, their own phone.

The Campaign Kickoff party (Thursday, June 30, 2016) was a success! Supporters were generous with donations and enjoyed the opportunity to socialize with like-minded folks. Of course politics was the major topic of the day and some excellent observations and ideas made their way into conversations around the buffet table. Thank you to all who attended. I am humbled by your support and so very appreciative. JJ
